I love this time of year – time together with family and friends celebrating the holidays fills my heart with joy and contentment. I let laughter guide my day and bathe in the love and gratefulness I feel surrounded by a family that values one another above most others.
I also love this time of year because for me, it’s a time of reflection. A time to say thanks, and a time to let go and a time to imagine what the next year might bring. This year, more than most, I’m ready to move on. I’m ready to let go of the heart ache and sadness. I’m ready to forgive so I can move on in peace. I’m ready to let go of the disappointment, the beliefs and the relationships that don’t support me. I’m ready to say good-bye so I can move on and find my magic.
As I enjoy my coffee and listen to the ocean waves, I’m waiting for the sun to greet me and welcome in a new day – and a new beginning and a new start. I am ready.
I’ve always loved words and quotes. I spent an hour or so this morning reading inspiring words on how to best move on, how to best start again, and how to become. I’ve shared a few below, maybe they will encourage and inspire you as they have me this morning.
